James Blunt

After serving his required four years, James Blunt has decided to leave the army to fulfill his musical dream. Less than a year after leaving the army, Blunt has his manager linked with former 4 Non Blondes singer Linda Perry. She has carved an impressive career in writing and producing songs of Pink and Christina Aguilera and others. She signed a contract with her label, Custard Records, and he began recording his debut album Back To Bedlam in Los Angeles.

Much of Back To Bedlam was Tom Rothrock, for its production of music made famous by Beck. The final track "No Bravery", written during his stay in Kosovo, Blunt production Linda Perry. The album did not sell well in the U.S., but because of the role on tour with Elton John, he began a slow recovery in the UK charts.

The first single from the album "High", could reach the Top 100 Pop Singles chart in the United Kingdom. He became the first single since 1995 for its debut outside of the Top 10, then hit number 1. Album Back To Bedlam soon leads the charts in late July 2005.
